The Year Mommy Messed Up Easter

For months we had been planning on spending Easter with our friends Laurie, Mike and Kira. We had done this last year and the kids had a blast so we figured why mess with a good thing. Well, then I got sick...again! Yep, 10 days to go until the big delivery and I come down with another whammy of a cold.

Although Jayden sounded very disappointed with the announcement that we would be spending the day just the three of us, he seemed to have a good time. He and Tony hid the eggs (in the exact same spot the Easter Bunny had hid them) five or six times. The game came to end once Jayden had cracked four of the egss...then the game wasn't as much fun with just eight to find, in the exact same places over and over.

And a side note to the Easter Bunny (aka Mom) Jayden was none to happy to see that the Easter Bunny did not take the time to "urganize" the candy in his basket. Next year candy must be together by category.

So in the final week I am home "taking it easy" in an all out effort to get over this cold before the big day. Oh yeah and, since my doctor is out of town on vacation this week, trying to stay pregnant until Monday.
